The Book of Clarence 2024
Jeymes Samuel, known for directing the 2020 Western film The Harder They Fall, is venturing into a new genre with the upcoming film, The Book of Clarence. Breaking away from traditional biblical narratives, the movie is set for release on January 12, 2024, with a star-studded and carefully selected cast. The plot follows Clarence, a Jerusalemite exploring faith during the ministry of Jesus Christ in 29 A.D., but unlike other biblical epics, it won’t center on Christianity. Samuel’s distinct filmmaking style, blending genres and emphasizing character growth, is anticipated.
The film is produced by Columbia Pictures and Legendary Pictures, with Samuel directing and composing the original score. The cast includes LaKeith Stanfield, RJ Cycler, Chase Dillon, Omar Sy, James McAvoy, Anna Diop, Teyana Taylor, David Oyelowo, Benedict Cumberbatch, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Alfre Woodard, and others. Mean Girls 2024
Tina Fey adapts the Broadway musical version of the 2004 comedy, bringing back the high school drama. The Mean Girls musical adaptation is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 12, 2024. Based on both the 2004 movie and the 2018 Broadway show, and directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr., the storyline revolves around the new girl, Cady, portrayed by Angourie Rice, who learns the ropes when encountering the Plastics: Regina George (played by Reneé Rapp), Gretchen (Bebe Wood), and Karen (Avantika).

The Kitchen Movie 2024
British actor Daniel Kaluuya co-directs this dystopian social thriller about life in a government-condemned London housing estate, blending warzone dynamics with personal struggles and relationships. For his upcoming film, The Kitchen, Kaluuya is making his directorial debut scheduled to be released on Netflix on January 19, 2024. Co-directed by Kibwe Tavares, based on a script they co-wrote with Rob Hayes and Joe Murtagh and narrated by Harvey Quinn.
This sci-fi drama is set in the year 2040 and tells the story of Izi, a former convict in London striving to distance himself from a life of crime. Faced with soaring housing prices and the automation of labor, people are desperately seeking affordable living arrangements. The elimination of welfare and social housing programs adds further pressure, compelling many to resort to drastic measures for shelter and sustenance.
Izi, portrayed by Kane “Kano” Robinson, is a father determined to leave the criminal world. However, when his son falls critically ill, Izi finds himself in a desperate situation. To save his son’s life, he must undertake one final heist that could alter the destinies of everyone in The Kitchen, as well as the corrupt billionaires who control the city.

Housekeeping for Beginners 2024
Set in a spacious hillside residence overlooking the capital city Skopje in North Macedonia, Australian Director Goran Stolevski brings to life this drama about a healthcare worker Dita (Anamaria Marinca) forced into motherhood after her partner’s terminal illness, navigating societal and familial challenges. Cast by Anamaria Marinca, Alina Serban, Samson Selim, Mia Mustafa, Vladimir Tintor, Dzada Selim, Ajse Useini, Aleksandra Pesevska, Rozafa Celaj, Sara Klimoska, etc.
The family this social worker finds herself in includes her partner Sauda (Alina Serban), Sauda’s children, their gay male friend Toni (Vladimir Tintor), and other people who have found refuge with them. However, when tragedy befalls them, this unconventional family must unite to safeguard each other, a challenging task that proves even more difficult for some members. Argylle 2024
While Henry Cavill might not reprise his role as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher series, fans still anticipate seeing him in a new light as the no-nonsense spy protagonist in one of the upcoming thriller movies 2024 Argylle. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, this action-comedy is a thrilling three-part franchise.
The eagerly anticipated film cast by Henry Cavill and other Hollywood A-list actors like pop sensation Dua Lipa, Samuel L. Jackson, and John Cena follows a popular reclusive author Elly Conway(Bryce Dallas Howard) as she writes a best-selling espionage novel centering around Argylle, a clandestine agent determined to dismantle a global spy syndicate. As her fictional plots eerily begin to resemble the covert activities of a real-life spy organization, the boundary between fiction and reality becomes increasingly indistinct. The Promised Land
In 18th century Denmark, Captain Ludvig Kahlen(Mads Mikkelsen), a proud and ambitious war hero facing financial hardship was determined to transform a vast, seemingly barren land into a thriving colony. In the name of the King, Kahlen aspires to secure a noble title for himself.
However, this seemingly perfect yet flawed terrain is governed by the ruthless Frederik De Schinkel(Simon Bennebjerg), a conceited nobleman threatened by Kahlen’s ambitions. Battling the harsh elements and local bandits, Kahlen is joined by a couple escaping the clutches of De Schinkel. As this group struggles to establish a community in this unforgiving place, De Schinkel vows revenge. Lisa Frankenstein 2024
Meet Lisa Frankenstein, the enigmatic protagonist in this coming-of-age rebellious movie. She breathes life into a once-dead, yet incredibly handsome, Victorian-era corpse. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire brings together Godzilla and Kong as allies in their latest endeavor to combat a formidable Titan threat. Director Adam Wingard has hinted at the film’s storyline, which delves deeper into the lore of the Hollow Earth. The narrative revolves around a malevolent Titan who has illicitly acquired power from the Hollow Earth temple, posing a significant challenge to both Godzilla and Kong. To maintain peace between their worlds, the iconic Titans must unite forces to thwart this villain. In a title reveal trailer, viewers catch a glimpse of the antagonist, a powerful Titan seated amidst bones and remnants, sporting piercing blue eyes. As the camera zooms out, the glowing skulls of Kong’s ape species and a Godzillasaurus come into view, culminating in the display of the film’s title amid a resounding roar. The trailer concludes with the screen engulfed in the new villain’s radiant blue eyes before fading to black.
The sequel, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, will exclusively premiere in theaters on March 29th, a relief for fans who missed the theatrical release of the previous film due to the pandemic. Returning cast members include Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle. Adam Wingard also returns to direct, with Simon Barett, Terry Rossio, and Jeremy Slater as writers, Junkie XL as composer, and Josh Schaeffer as editor.
